Track Name: Don't Feed The Trolls
He was so frustrated at a terrible day
His Facebook post said as much too.
The Likes started trickling and ping went his mail
A comment from somebody new!
It called him a Muppet, it called him a fraud,
it said he was bitter and old!
He'd already crafted a raging response
But he paused and thought "Don't feed the trolls!"

We all love the Internet, but remember please don't feed the trolls.

Instead he pressed "Like" to show he was a gent,
And immune to a trollish attack.
But it's passive aggressive behaviour like that
Which brings a troll coming right back.
The troll posted something I'd never repeat,
About "Lambert" and "Villa" and "Goals"
And followed it up with a dig at his Mum
So he sighed and thought "Don't feed the trolls."

We all love the Internet, but remember please don't feed the trolls.

He left it to fester, he paid it no heed.
But on balance he felt he should act.
He reported abuse and a lack of fair play,
And how he'd been sorely attacked!
But then there came calling a second account
Who joined in with more and some LOLs
So sadly he thought as he stared at the screen
"I should have known! Don't feed the trolls!"

We all love the Internet, but remember please don't feed the trolls.

So if you are taunted and shown disrespect
And mindless troll flaming ensue,
Don't feed them
Don't heed them
Don't give them a voice,
and remember it's never about you.

We all love the Internet,
We all love the Internet, but remember please don't feed the trolls.
